From Village to Crores: The Zepto Story
In 2021, two 19-year-old childhood friends, Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra, launched Zepto, a 10-minute grocery delivery startup. Aadit, with roots in a small village in Kerala, dropped out of Stanford to solve a basic Indian problem: grocery delivery delays.
Starting from a Mumbai apartment, they built Zepto into a lightning-fast logistics network. Despite intense competition, their obsession with speed and tech helped Zepto scale rapidly in major cities. By 2024, Zepto was clocking ₹5+ crore in daily revenue, serving millions of Indians.
From humble beginnings to a unicorn startup, Zepto proves that even village-born dreams can go viral—with speed!
