Big Cyber Scam in Bihar: 25-Year-Old Arrested from Naubatpur for Rs 5 cr cyberfraud

A shocking cyber fraud case worth ₹5.37 crore was uncovered when Shubham Kumar, 25, was arrested from Goraila village in Naubatpur by a joint team from Delhi Police Cyber Cell and Patna Police.

Police began their probe after a complaint on June 6 at South West Cyber Police Station in Delhi. They tracked the suspects' mobile phones to Naubatpur and nearby Bihta. Earlier, on Tuesday, they caught Dheeraj Kumar, 33, from Bihta in Ranchi.

On Wednesday, Delhi’s five-man cyber squad, led by SHO Sanjeet Kumar of Naubatpur PS, raided Shubham’s home in Goraila and arrested him. Authorities recovered their cell phones, which helped trace the fraud .

Both men were produced in court. Shubham has now been placed under transit remand by Delhi Police for further questioning.
